Wonderful beaches and a crystal-clear water

In Marina di Modica and in the immediate vicinity, one can find fantastic dunes which belong to the most beautiful ones in the island.
Small and large bays, as well as numerous ledges invite to take romantic walks.
The golden beach of the spa is about 1.5 km long and is embraced by multitude dunes.
The one end of the seaside ends at a flat ledge, while the other end adjoins downtown of Marina di Modica directly at the "piazetta", i.e., the city square of the spa.

Especially, families with children get their money's worth, because the beach declines slightly into the sea so that children can play at the waterside.
The sandy beach is in the off-season almost deserted so that one can bath undisturbed in the sun or swim in the sea.
The peak season from middle of July until the end of August is the time where the home country nationals are on holiday.
For a non-skilled Italy tourist the beach day will be a nice experience.
